|Have developed a sore on bottom of right foot. The sore is approx. finger tip in size. Small lump has formed. Sore as heck. Use SPD pedals with Sidi D shoes. Shoes fit fine and have used for almost a year. Have used SPD pedals for years. Could this sore be result of a "hot spot" Have not ridden any more than usual. No change in cleat position. Am flat footed. Thinking I may need to change to a SPD-SL, look or campy pro fit pedal. Larger platform ect.... Any thoughts.

|It sounds like you have irritated something pretty severly. At this point, your only option to keep riding might be one of those Dr. Scholls "donut" thingies around the sore. Where exactly is this sore/lump on your foot?|

|Sore is right where cleat meets pedal. Thats why I had thought maybe a hot spot. But never have had problems before. Do not know what to make of it. Planned nice long ride this past weekend and had to abort long ride for very short ride.|| |
