Does anyone know what the difference is in the cranks. I realize that shimano uses octalink, but are there actually any differences other than that?

I believe that you can get FSA cranks in two styles. Shimano "Octalink" or "Isis" drive for Isis BB compatability. They do not make a Campy compatible drive. Other than that, I don't believe there is a difference, if there is, someone will correct me.

The FSA Carbon Pro Team Issue comes in three different styles, 9 speed Octalink, 9 speed Isis, 10 speed Isis. The Carbon Pro Team issue does not come in the Campy square bottom bracket you have to use the Isis bottom bracket. The Carbon Pro does come in Campy spacing and will fit the square campy bottom bracket.

Just wondering...are the 9 speed chainrings any different than the 10 speed. Should be thinner, ideally, but are they? In other words, can one use a 9 speed crankset with a Campy 10 system?

Thanks

I'm using an FSA crankset with a Chorus 10 setup right now. The set was originally used with Shimmy 9. No problems whatsoever.
