What bike to getjonthegreat9

Ive been a mountain biker for a while, but recently I decided I wanted a road bike. Ive looked at a few inexpensive bikes such as the Cannondale R400. What are some good ideas for bikes under $1000. Also I am 6'4" so anything that does not have large sizing will probably not work.

how about a fuji. parts are ok. a 105 grup would be a nice ride. if you can spend the extra $200 get the ultegra.

I'm 6'3 and I don't think you should have any problem finding the right sized bike. Many companies make up to a 60 or even bigger in some cases. What's your inseam? Your torso length? These factors can be a real pain when you're getting a new bike. The stem on my current bike is way too short, the bike also has a fairly short top tube making the problem worse. Make sure you know all the specs on the bike before buying. That said, Fuji is a great deal, but do get at least 105, Tiagra and Sora are acceptable, but 105 and up will make your ride slightly more enjoyable.
