Anyone else splurging? The race is August 3. I hope I get some swag.

apart from the food, you don't get anything else you can't get on the course. You can sit in the Clif Bar stand for free and see just us much action. It's more fun to mix it up with all the other punters scramming for a good spot there. It's also near the wheel pit so you can check out the bikes when they stop.
We will see if that is all we get, but bathroom access...BrianNYC

should be pretty good. ALso, I wasn't asking whether you thought it was "worth it," just if anyone else is taking the VIP option. It is my money and my extravagance.
Well for $100...Fender

I'll let you watch the S.F. Gran Prix from my apartment. We'll get to see the riders go by at least 10 times in person from the balconey and then watch it on my flat screen tv with a posh sound system. There will be catering and bathroom access won't be a problem.

so what do you say?

just kidding of course. Hope you enjoy the race! =)
Sounds like a bargain...but getting there would be $$$$ :-) nmBrianNYC

ok, yes, your decision, just pointing out the options. I'll try to stick to the exact topic. No, I'm not getting the VIP ticket.
