|I've plotted it using my Polar S710 and have gotten approximately 22% for the initial section. It seems even steeper since you are on a small hill leading up to it, then a sharp right turn right into the steepest part. I do it 2-3 times per month, just for fun ;-)|

|I used to ride that road about three times a week. I used to live off Sand Run Road in Akron. Such a nice area. If you want steep (but you have to do it in a low traffic time) try climbing Smith Road in Akron. Take Riverview Road south from there into town and turn left up Smith Road Hill. Ride that out to Sand Run Road and turn right, and take that down hill to Yellow Creek, turn right, back out to Riverview or Akron Penninsula, which ever you like riding better. I love that ride. It's been over 10 years since I have done it, but I am going to Akron at the beginning of the month and I am debating on taking my bike.

|Just rode this hill for the first time this week. Was doing some hill repeats on Everitt and decided to try it.Haven't tried the Smith Rd. hill yet. I really love riding around the valley. Thanks for the info.... interesting.|| |
