You're comments about saddle height in response to my "stem police" post last week were right on the mark.

I lowered my saddle 1 cm before a weekend of riding, and have found my pedal stroke again. Particularly on hills, where I need more power, the lower saddle really helps. Didn't help enough on Mt. Magazine ( :-) see J's post below), but definitely is a big improvement.

Several weeks ago I installed a new saddle, a new pedal system, and new shoes. When adjusting the saddle height for all these new factors, I just got carried away with getting the saddle to the max height.

Thanks for the advice.
