traditional DeFeet cycling socks, etc., are too thin for me (and my current shoes) ... I love Smart Wool socks (which are the perfect thickness for me), but they are a bit warm with summer temps ... what are good alternatives for hours in the saddle?

I have some Pearl Izumi, OGC Mavic and Sugoi that are thicker than Defeets, but not winter/fall thick. I use them with my mountain shoes, which fit a bit larger than my road shoes

Defeet has a model called "Cush which is thicked on the bottom, just the right amount of padding for me. Sometimes Performance has some on their website on sale.

And, no, I do not work for performance, just a satisfied customer.
DeFeet Cush are very good, Bogner All-Sport my favorites.dzrider
Jul 7, 2003 5:13 AM has good prices on DeFeet. Bogners are at Marshalls and perhaps other discount stores.

Sock Guy Socks. Better than DeFeet, better than Sugoi, better than Lin, better than anything else I've tried. Give 'em a whirl, many online stores carry them and you can get them at their site,
