I live in Richmond, VA and I'm interested in hooking up with some people to do some riding.

Any takers?

... now live about 120 miles north. The cruiser came from Agees. I've been thinking of hauling it down there for a nice ride sometime ... it actually spent only a few days in its hometown before going off to college.

Stop by Rowletts bicycle shop at Staples Mill and Broad St. they can hook you up.

You should also check out www.raba.org (richmond club) it has a weekly and monthly ride listing section.

Finally, Richmond Ciclismo group coffee ride (very slow, with post ride java break) leaves from in front of Roadrunner, on Cary Street at 7:30 am every Saturday (spring, summer, fall)that its not raining.

Check out the Cobblestone bike shop. It's out Rt. 250 in Goochland County. Plenty of info and organized rides. Great LBS, too. Try cobblestonebikes.com, too.

;-) My best friend's mother, who lived in Richmond, was a Lawrence, and she loved to tell folks her family came from a long line of horse-thieves. The business is continued to this day with the family's car dealership.
