...percent grade? i have a polar 510 for training and a specialized speedzone with altimeter and percent grade. is there a computer out there that has everything built in, HRM, bike computer and altimeter with % grade? the ciclosport CM 436 can compute % grade but not on the fly, only after downloading your ride/training info to your PC.

Are you sure the 436 does not do it on the fly? I have the 434 (previous model) and it does it. I do not know why Ciclosport would have eliminated that feature.

But, the 436 does not have heart rate. You would need the HAC 4 for that. I have that also and it does it all, plus power output.

The Ciclosport HAC-4 does that. I have one and am happy with it. The handlebar mount with the cadence option is pretty cheesy but the mount without the cadence kit seems pretty good. The percent grade functions are dependent on barometric pressure (like most other types) so if you're riding while a front is coming through you may see some variations. Also, the downloads are based on a 'snapshot' of your ride stored in 20 second intervals, so you may or may not be happy with it's 'resolution.'

I'm pretty ahppy with mine. The power measurement is claimed to be +/- 20% on uphill grades and +/- 40% on flats. I've compared it to figures computed on anlaytical cycling dot com and the results (so far) have been within 10%.

Disclaimer: I've only had it 2 weeks now.
