It was floating around the board recently. The one where Armstrong isn't wearing a tie. If you have it, please post it?
Thanks!
Do you mean this one? nmKen of Fresno

See who can name the most.

I can only do a few:
Armstrong, Pantani, Indurain, Lemond, Hinoult, Fingon (sp?)

Can anyone get them all?

Ken

... In other sports you sometimes see the former champs have just gone to heck. This is a pretty healthy-looking bunch!

Notice in the pic that Lance is the only one without a tie. Should of insisted on wearing a cowboy hat! You're the man...Lance!

If I recall the story correctlyvindicator

There was some kind of airline luggage/delay problem and Lance barely made it to the shoot. He supposedly had intended to wear a tie, but it was in the misdirected luggage.

At least, that's the story that surfaced in the past...
YEAH! Thanks Ken! -nmcydswipe

I can't beleive they stuck Lemond next to Hinault. Does anyone know if they're still not speaking to each other after all of these years?

I'm surprised they put Merckx next to Lance considering the things he's said about LA. Who the heck posed these guys? Jerry Springer?

Merckx never said a bad thing about Lance.. he said he made a stupid decision in LBL to attack early and then blow by his son (which was probably 6 months after this photo was taken, but they are apparently cordial. Whether Merckx's comments thru the media changed that, I don't know but this picture was taken at the route announcement which was in October if I'm not mistaken.
