New Dura-Ace Pedals? How are they?Mauceri

I like large platform pedals and use Look 357. They are OK but I have to replace the plastic cleat soon. I was thinking of just turning to the Shimano's because of the reviews. It appears you can walk in them and they feel even better than the Look's.

Problem is I ride with Campy. Will I look ridiculous with Dura-Ace pedals on a Campy crank arm?

However, they are no better than something like a Campy ProFit. It's just that the Campy pedals have been on the market for four years, while the Shimano's are new. People like them for their large platform, ease of entry/exit, good design, light weight etc. All the same attributes of a ProFit. As far as I am concerned, DA just caught up to Chorus.
Most of the "improvement" is from SPD-R peopleLC

SPD-R pedals were crap so it was not hard to improve on that.

I have not tryed SPD-SL, but my Look pedals work fine now that I figured out to use Silicon spray to stop the squeek. Pledge and most other things just don't last long.

i like that they are lighter than Look, but I am still waiting for them to prove themselves and settle down first. They already had to redesign the cleats, which BTW cost 2 to 3 times what the Look cleat cost and I have not heard about any covers for them. I really don't think that those little rubber pieces on the SPD-SL will last as long as Look covers for walking.
Got the Ultegra version and Im very happy (nm).firstrax

..I just got the pedals a couple of days ago, and at the LBS, the Dura Ace pedals were a lot more, and when I tried them they weren't a lot different, the in-out was easier, but with practice the ultegras work great so the inout factor isn't really a huge factor,
Ultegras - do they squeak?briburke

My Look 357s are driving me absolutely crazy - there's nothing worse then pedal squeak on every stroke when your climbing (and live in CO). I've tried the Pledge trick, but after 20 miles it's back to the squeaks. I was thinking about givin up and buying the Ultegras, but wanted to know a few things: 1) have they ever squeaked on you? 2) Are the cleats more walk-able than the Looks? 3) How's the float?

Thanks,
Brian
