Who makes Hincapie's TT bike?NeedSpeed

We all know that George and Pavel are a bit too heavy for the honeycomb Trek carbon TT bike, so they ride aluminum frames. But does anyone know who makes their frames? I've seen pictures where it looks like George is on a Litespeed Blade painted in USPS colours and with a Trek decal slapped on it. Look at Lance's frame and then Georgie's.

... Trek had planned on introducing this aluminium frame to replace the Hilo... but never came to market...

This is a similar rig ridden by Peter Reid...

Be the bike.

It's not a Litespeed Blade - they have a bladed top tube.. I agree with what everyone else says - it's either a custom Trek for his large frame or it's a redbadged frame. It looks a bit like a Cervelo P2, but I can't see the seatstays to tell for sure.

He also uses Trek Al frames in some of his road races, too, from what I've read.

can't remember where, but i recall reading that it was an issue of frame size, not hincapie's weight. perhaps there were manufacturing limitations on frame size for the trek CF tt bike.

from the trek site:

team tt: SIZES 53-55cm (S), 55-57cm (M), 57-59cm (L)
5200: SIZES 50cm, 52cm, 54cm, 56cm, 58cm, 60cm, 62cm

the usps team site says he's 6'3".

his site shows pics of him on the alum tt bike for tts and the cf 5200/5500 in road races.

I saw one of Hincapie's old GT bikes, in US National Team paint, on eBay. IIRC, it was 60cm c-c, 59cm tt, with a bit of a head tube extension. That doesn't seem out of line for Trek mfg, but maybe he's moved to bigger frames since the GT days.

I actually considered bidding on the GT (nice paint, just about my size), but it was too pricey and included an unattractive Mavic Zap group.
