|Gregg (and everyone,
I think a section in the reviews, perhaps under resources, allowing people to submit reviews of their experiences with online sales sites would be useful. I've had both good and bad experiences and I think it would help. May end up being too convoluted with opposing views though. What do people think??

|It was done way back...think it was when it was only mtbr.com It was basically done away with, if memory serves, because it got loaded down with people spamming, stores trashing other stores, stores making themselves sound great....
a good idea, but ....was tried and failed..

|It's too bad it didn't work out, I would really like to see this! Early this year I had to have some major work done to my car and was probing around the cartalk / cars.com site. They have something where you can look up a mechanic for your vehicle according to where you are located. It came up with about a half dozen or so and there were unsolicited customer reviews for most of them, and believe it or not, most were fairly positive. No bashing, just real stories. Maybe the forum was somehow moderated, but that seems unlikely due to the size of the US and the number of potential entries there could be. You would think there would be more entries calling the shops rip-offs and jerks simply due to the nature that a visit to the mechanic is never a welcome event.
A LBS review would be really useful to find out which ones care more beyond swiping your credit card.
