|Anyone have any comments on this bike (full ultegra for under $1200!!)? I've read some of the reviews, and it SEEMS like it is just a generic version of a really good 853 steel bike. Am I off-target here with this?

|I don't know about the 853 but the CFR kicks serious booty. I LOVE this bike. Full carbon frame/fork(and fork tube!!!)/seatpost, shimano R540's, FULL ultegra. Beautiful styling...$1495. Go to their website, read the reviews. In my opinion, if you don't care about the name and don't mind going with a housebrand, you can't miss with Scattante. Serious bang for the buck. Did I mention how much I LOVE my bike?!?|

|Scattante is Supergo's house brand, as are Weyless MTB's, Weyless parts, and (I believe) Aireon tools. That's why the only place you find these brands is at Supergo.
My understanding is that Supergo sources their frames from the same Asian factories many of the bigger name bikes come from, they just charge less for them.
