|If you don't have any spray equipment and plan on using aerosol cans, I would probably go with Dupli-color. You may want to review their site:
http://www.duplicolor.com/products/autospray.html and http://www.duplicolor.com/ for tips, etc. and obviously 3/0 or 4/0 sanding between coats.
DON'T apply any type of Polyurethane based spray coating....this will fade (yellow) very quickly...get Acrylic based.
Another option would be to contact a local Automotive Paint Shop and ask for a price to apply the clear coat....they may only charge you under $25 since there is no paint involved and you'd probably get a higher quality product than the Dupli-color..
