|i totally agree. keep the metal stuff polished aluminum, and the carbon stuff natural weave. the painted metal on the brakes and front derailluer looks really crappy, like 105 stuff.
that botle cage is awesome!

|When I posted the link, there was no picture of the brakes, people kept saying 'I don't like the brakes' so I looked again and they have added the brakes photo.
Personally, I don't like the look of the brakes, they look like Xenon brakes but with hidden pivots, not a good idea!!!
Also, my 1991 experience with black finish components was that the stuff chips and flakes off to reveal powdery grey raw alloy underneath which makes it look VERY cheap.
Black appearance is only ok if it is cos it's made of carbon or carbon fibre or it is Xenon priced!!

|ban the pros from riding bikes that have more than 50% of their components with a black finish, unless they have a doctors note saying the LBS had sold out on the polished version!!|

|I read it in a couple of places that Gilberto Simoni has been riding with the Record carbon f/r derailleurs this year at the Giro. There is an article in this month's VeloNews about his CAAD7 being at the UCI weight minimum, and every little bit helps.|
