Narrowed it down - need a little help deciding on a new ridemagnum

Okay guys and gals. Some of you have read some of my posts and know the crazy situation I'm in, others don't. I've spent the entire weekend thinking, researching, and rethinking what I've test riddin, or thrown a leg over.....and I've narrowed down my choices to two new bikes.

(1) Cannondale R1000 (stock setup)

(2) Klein Q Carbon Team (stock setup)

(3) Lemond Zurich (stock - haven't ridden this bike,
although the salesman was encouraging me to check it
out, even though I wasn't necessarly looking for
steel.)

I really like the Cdale and Klein quite a bit. Both are beautiful in thier own right. Both have similar warranties and fairly similar components. I just didn't think I was wanting steel that much.

My problem is... Which one would be better for me? I'm a 6'4'' Giant - exfootball player type. I feel like I'm getting fatter by the day. I'm approaching 300lbs. again... *sigh* While I don't appear obease, I am large. I just want something that can take the abuse of my everyday riding. I want to make this decision THIS WEEK. So hopefully you all can really help me out!!!

I really appreciate everything!

I'd go with Cdale. It'll be stiffer and would last longer IMHO.

Can you test ride the steel? Lemond would be flexier than the others, but maybe you'd prefer the ride. Careful with the stock wheelsets. For your size, handbuilt 36-spoke wheels seem a lot more reliable.

See my review of my Q Carbon Pro in the reviews section. 500 mi now. I am still loving it. I am 6', and was close to 200lbs when I bought the bike. Now down to 190lbs, and the bike keeps getting better and faster. Climbs like a dream. No flex, and a comfortable ride over 60 mi with lots of hills.
