Need new wheels for an old bike....bent_spoke

I have an old '75 Peugeot that I'd like to get new wheels for, so that I can continue to ride out to the store, post office, etc & not have to worry about my bike getting ripped off. Any suggestions on a set of inexpensive wheels for this old beast?

It probably has 27" wheels as opposed to the new 700c's (which are expensive). Look on e-bay for 27" tires and you should come up with a whole slew of older rims that should do you just fine. Just make sure all your drive train matches up (look at the freewheel and make sure your shifters [if indexed] coincide).
