After putting my chain back on while out riding today this came to mind. If you have one to add & a way to avoid it that would great!

1) the old standard jersey wrecker is grease, oil, etc.;
remedy: clean your hands and/or not wear latex gloves

2) pulling the jersey fabric with the velcro catcher on
your glove
remedy: watch what you are doing, especially in a crowd
(I pulled a jersey coming out of a porto johnny at a
ride...loosing more points for not getting her name.)
Crash and slide several feet on your jersey.KG 361

Sure-fire way to ruin one. Best I've found. Cure-sue the bejesus out of the idiot who caused you to wreck. If the wreck was your own doing, you are SOL!

...preferable through a narrow trail bordered by raspberry bushes or other spiny plants. I shredded my favorite jersey that way last year, as well as my forearms...

...also, almost-empty chocolate flavored GU tube stuck in the side pocket and forgotten about...
