Is there a weather site that tells you the real-time weather conditions?

Sometimes the weather varies cross-town and I think this info would be helpful. Sites like weather.com ask for a zip code, but its pretty much the same forecast for a bunch of zip codes in the same metro area.

I am in Washington, DC if that matters.
I look at the radar to see where it's raining in the region.Scot_Gore

Looked out office window in Maryland right above DC border - everything is bone dry.

Drove through NW Washington DC - everything is rain soaked and still raining.

Went to Hains Point (10 miles away) to do a few training laps - bone dry again. Actually had a good evening of training.

Yes, the radar of all the neighborhoods could help with this crazy weather.

but seriously, try your local news station web sites. here in Houston each one has a local doplar radar that shows down to almost neighborhood level.

Besides Cycling,
I'm kindof a weather geek too.

Try these sites....
Accuweather.com
After you enter your zip code, click on hourly weather as well as AccuPop

Wunderground.com How good it is in your area depends on who's updating it, but they have a feature that allows weather geaks in your area to upload current conditions to the Personal Weather station. You've got quite a few in your area.
Check this out http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=washington%2Cdc

And last but not least, the national weather site http://www.uswx.com

There are many others, but you get the idea I hope.
if you live the east the answer is likely yes! (nm)DaveG

Sterling weather radar ...Humma Hah

I keep one computer at work with its home page set to this. It is the Sterling, VA doppler radar, base reflectivity loop. It seems the best predictor of actual rain. It updates about every 6 minutes or so. You need to hit refresh to get the latest view.

There's a wicked line of T-storms coming in from WVA right now.

Seattle. Oh no, wait, it only feels like Seattle because it's rained 21 weekends so far this year (not counting all those weekdays it's also rained)!!!!! I actually live in NJ. So I get to deal with guidos, too.

This is unreal. Last year we have severe drought conditions, now this.

Sorry for the mini-rant.
