Anybody happy with their wireless computer? If so, what are you using?

My Vetta V100 has been a piece of crap since the day I bought it. Drops off constantly and doesn't want to reset for a new ride.

Then again, I've never owned a computer I've liked.

I'm very happy with mine. it even has altitude, temp, %grade, etc. tons of extra bells and whistles that are fun to play with when you are on a 20% grade hill.

It's been a beauty since I got it. Never drops off and doesn't get interferance from my riding buddy who has the same one.

I've tried a Performance brand cordless, Sigma, and currently a Cateye Cordless (not O2 model). The Sigma was the worst. I actually sent it to the manufacturer with a letter of disgust. The Performance one was average but gave sketchy readings and batteries died quick. The Cateye I'm currently using has been the best so far but still isn't as good as a decent corded model. I always get a rediculously high max. speed due to power lines (I guess).

Most newer models are easy to set up. The culprit is usually the batteries. There is a battery at the speed sensor and one in the computer. If either one gets weak the computer starts acting strange.
wouldn't use anything butterry b

3 cateye C2, 1 cateye c7, 2 specialized speedzone, 1 vdo, 3 sigma targa.

all work like champs, no problems. you couldn't pay me to use a wired computer.

I've been using nothing but wireless computers for years. My first one was a Cateye Cordless 2 that I bought five years ago and still works perfectly. On my new bike, I put a wireless FlightDeck, which also works flawlessly. I'd never have a computer that drapes wires around my bike.

I have 2 wireless. An older ACT which is the best thing I ever bought. Of course, they no longer make. The second, is a Performance Axiom 8.0. No problems herre. Use daily. Very accurate. But I have read that people have had numerous problems with.

Both computers work well. The Speedzone Pro has wired cadence, but comes with a second mounting bracket that has no cadence wire.

Vetta V100, have never had a problem with function, have never had it "fall off", not sure how that would happen. about to buy a second for my new ride...you can keep two bikes on it, but I'm lazy....

I have used a Performance Axiom wireless for nearly 3 years and it's great. I like it so much I removed the wired FliteDeck from my second bike and installed another Axiom on it. Batteries seem to last about a year. No problems whatsoever with either of mine. Large readable display and all the functions I need -- and relatively inexpensive, about $30 when on sale.

I've been using it for over a year and works like a charm, never skip a beat. It does not have all the fancy functions but if you just want to log mileage, know how fast you are going compare to average this is the one. I bought it for $18 brand new, can't beat that.
