The DVD Saga: The Hard Roadeschelon

I finally got the DVD in the mail yesterday...and it was awesome! It reminded exactly of a video I bought a long time ago when I was into bodybuilding: Arnold S's movie: Pumping Iron...it's a great video...I learned alot about competitiveness and training ethics, not just bodybuilding...same thing with this movie The Hard Road...it was really a wonderful eye-opener about professional road bike racing in America and the sacrifices and sacrifices these guys do that truly makes their lives a compelling story. I wanted to watch it again last night, but I have to work the next day and it was about 1am...so I grudgingly turned the TV off.

I think if OLN was smart, they should produce a reality show about pro-racing in America...with all kinds of spotlights on riders and different teams along with heavy amounts of stylized racing editing coverage made for exciting and riveting TV.

Oh, and one more thing...I am a fan of watching the TV show: Blind Date and if you have watched it enough, you may have noticed one of the Netzero team/cast member in the video was Mike Tillman...well it turns out I saw Mike on that show! Small world! There is no mistaking about this because on the show, Mike Tillman said to his blind date that he was a professional bike racer....too cool!

So that was him! I saw that episode and the chick totally dug him. I want to say it was the whole cycling thing that got her hot and bothered but I think he just has mad game.

you're right... he just has mad game. cyclists might be nice to date for awhile, but they're a pain in the arse long term (just ask my girlfriend!)

one of those freaks from Jackass was on Blind Date as well. he poored salt in his eyes and balanced a knife blade-down on his nose.
