SO I am by chance going to be very near the tour as it passes through Narbonne and want to go see stage 12 or 13. Any tips on how exactly to facilitate that? Can I just drive out there real early in the morning and find a place to park, can I take a bus from Narbonne? Seriously any advice would be wonderful. Thanks

never been, don't know much, but my advice go out the day before. Be prepared, lunch, drinks anything. Enjoy.

It all depends on where you want to be. Outside of the mountains, you should be able to drive fairly close to some part of the route and walk the rest of the way.

If you want to go up in the mountains, there aren't as many roads, so your options are limited. Rent or steal a bike, drive as close as you can (the roads will close at some point), then park and ride the rest of the way.

You don't need to camp overnight and truck in a lot of supplies. Just drive in a few hours ahead of the scheduled arrival (schedules appear online or in the paper).
