as others have said, fed-ex leaves a note on the door then they come back the next day at the same time. of course, i, and this may sound funny, work. crazy eh? anyway so i miss the they guy again and i call the number they give me. they can't find my goods? says it has been delivered. this goes on for several manager types until the senior guy figures it out. next day i get my stuff. fed- idiots. also why do things coming from england get here within three to five days after ordering and stuff from the states takes weeks!!??

That could be bad packing as much as UPS.I had a frame come out of the box. UPS certainly did it no favors in handling, but it waas LBS that blew the packing to begin with that allowed the frame freedom of movement within the box.UPS denided the damage calim, and I had to agree.LBS had to eat it.
UPS fault on this onewspokes

This one had conveyor tracks on the bottom of the box. it got jammed up. UPS denied, the shipper appealed...ups accepted responsibility after much hastle. The box had another layer of cardboard inside and the front fork was completely missing (??)

I do agree that I have seen some lousy packing jobs though.
