|Me and the soon to be Mrs. will be honeymooning in Nassau next month fo 10 days. I don't know if I can stay off a bike that long :O) Does anyone have a knowledge about riding in Nassau? Are there places to rent? Are the roads suitable and is it safe? Any input is welcome!

|I have an acquaintance that manages a large resort just outside of Nassau, for the last 6 years. He owns a Spectrum but keeps it in Florida. Here's his take on riding in the Bahamas..."riding here is not an option as Bahamians will simply run you over so I do everything but cycle to stay in shape...."|

|figured this would be the type of response, but I was in de'Nile :O) Oh well the club spa will have to do. I'll have to get some riding in when we get out to Napa later this summer.
We are staying at the Atlantis for a few days to see some of the attractions and play the tables and then will retire to a more sedate Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort & Spa in Cable Beach.
I should have booked Bermuda :O)

|there on a cruise last fall, I looked/checked extensively and could find nowhere to rent. my opinion of the drivers/safety agrees with others. stay at a resort that has stationary bikes, or go to St. Kitts' where the biking is awesome!|
