I bet his wife is in hiding somewhere. If he's guilty, I hope they nail him to the wall.

He needs to be punished big time. I bet he was doped up at the tour last year. Question is how did he get away with it for so long?

Anyone remember his wife's excuse last year? She claimed she was delivering the "prescriptions" and other drugs to her mother-in-law! Some intense investigation has led me to the following conclusion: Raimondas Rumsas has ... "Norman Bates-ian" complex. He is, in fact, his mother! Bravo, Raimondas, Bravo! Leave it to this idiot to taint an otherwise clean Giro. Couldn't leave well enough alone what with tainting a "clean" '02 Tour. You had to go and "juice-up" for the '03 Giro as well. Bet he drives a Ferrari.

Somebody here posted a list of all the "drugs" both legal and illegal his wife was caught in possession of last summer. I have seen drug stores with less inventory than what was listed in her possession.

how many others are still doping and getting away with it? It would be interesting to compare the times up some of the oft used climbs from the last 20 years and look at how they've varied.

were charges dropped? I ask because of what was on the cyclingnew.com website which I will quote:
"Rumsas finished third in last year's Tour de France, but his result was clouded when French customs officers found a large number of drugs, some of which were illegal, in his wife Edita's car after the end of the Tour. Edita was imprisoned in France and eventually released on bail, and neither she or her husband have been back in France since then."

generally it takes many years for french justice to caugh up something LA still has charges hanging over him since '99 and '00. but even if charges were dropped they wouldn't have any interest in saying so. Free press.
