|I've tried to get a speeding ticket on the cruiser, but can't even get the cops to look up!

|That is for speeding, not running a red light/stop sign! I got stopped for speeding once, in England, but wasn't actually given a ticket.

|Like you, I was stopped for it, but not ticketed. Most likely because I didn't have a Driver's License. Not that I didn't have one on me, but I didn't have one period. I got pulled over going through a park in my hometown, Akron, Ohio, and the speed limit thru the park was 25 mph. This park was slightly downhill on either side until you came to a ford in the road where a creek crossed it. I was hammering away on my way home from work and was doing 36 when the Park Ranger clocked me. He was pretty p.o'd when I tried to explain to him that I had no license. I was also smart enough to pull the computer head off the bars as he was waving at me to pull me over.
When he told me how fast I was going, I acted like that was impossible. I told him I had never even heard of a bike going that fast. But I think what ultimately covered my butt was that I had no D.L. for him to write a ticket to. Lucky there.

|In the lucky event a speed trap looms ahead, I go through it at maximum speed, just to see what the clock says. If it's a live cop, I usually ask him as I whiz by. They usually tell you a speed slower than what your speedo is showing.|| |
