Bianchi sizing in relation to Cannondale(3 posts)

Bianchi sizing in relation to CannondaleBrian T

Got my first bike sight-unseen, hope I didn't make a mistake size wise. It is a 54cm Bianchi from '98. Some time ago, at an LBS, I was sized at a 54cm for a Cannondale. I know different companies have different sizing schemes and use different measurements, so I'm a little reticent about this. I am 5'9'' and one half. My inseam is 32''.

YOu should confirm the method of sizing with the seller, since Bianchi measures from center of BB to the top of the seat collar. IOW, their 54cm frame a really about a 52.5 if you measure it c to C. I "believe" that C'dale measures the same way as Bianchi.

If your inseam is 32" I would suspect the frame is a bit small.

Hope this helps
