Fondriest owners, Top Level or Carb Level ?Crash

Trying to decide between the Top Level and Carb Level, if cost was not an object which would you go with? Do the carbon seatstays really help the vibraton that much? Any input you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Post the same question on the Bicycling.com forum in the buying section. There are a couple of guys who own these bikes.

If you decide on the Carb Level and can ride a 54cm frame check out my post in the RBR classifieds for a new Carb Level w/ Ultegra.

Rik,

Sorry, I'm looking for a 57 (L). By the way, why are you selling it? Thanks!

Bought it late last year at a decent price only to find that the team I ride with is being sponsored by Giant and I could get a great deal on a TCR composite. My back-up is a Merckx Team SC so no real use for another good aluminum frame. Best of luck.

I ride a Top Level - and love it. Great bike, light, quick, nice to look at.

Re: carbon stays. I've got two bikes with them and darned if I can tell if they do anything. Since I can't ride the same exact frame without the CF, we'll never know for sure. I'd be disinclined to buy another, unless I really wanted the frame for other reasons (let's say a CT-1.) AS far as I can guess, I don't think the Top Level would be improved by changing the rear - it's a nice smooth ride as it is. I'm of the opinion that if you do these "new" aluminums right (as in tubes and construction) you end up with a nice ride.

In the toss up, I chose the Top Level.
