Repairing cut tireSprint-Nick

I have a Axial Carbon series tire and got a sliver of glass slice about a half cm (quarter inch) gash length wise in the middle of the tread. Whats the best way to fix it?

Thanks,
Nick
If it's through the caseing, forget it.MR_GRUMPY

If just the tread is cut, use super glue to fill the cut, or get some "tread-stop" from Branfordbike. It's great for cuts on sewups also.
If it is through the caseing, you might want to try a boot, made from the caseing of an old CX or some other cotton tire.

Boot the inside and squeeze some superglue in the hole on the outside. I just did this last week and it's holding fine. I actually used a patch intended for tube repair on the inside and it works fine so far.
You could try selling it on Ebay ;-) nmSpunout
