Madonna goes clipless!!!moo2

Relatively unknown cyclist Madonna, of pop music fame recently fitted her bike with clipless pedals. She went for a spin, came to a stop, and promptly fell over in the street when she forgot to unclip.

Carrying coffee, no helmet, etc. Probably followed by a Tour de France style convoy of Suburbans full of body guards. Well, at least she's cycling... I guess that will help make it "cool."

When I ride to the coffee shop, I'm generally wearing a baseball hat and riding an old MTB with flats. She's not doing anythign that's I'd not do (except maybe the crashing part).

It's a bit sad that a photographer's job is to follow her around and taking photos like that. Makes me glad I'm not famous.

My only problem while riding with coffee, is that it's much easier for me to steer with my left hand and drink with my right. The downside of that is that with my left hand being my "drive" hand, I have very limited gearing - i.e. my MTB becomes a 3 speed.

I saw a pic of Seinfeld riding in Central Parkgeeker

It was in the NY Post a couple of weeks ago, couldn't find a link to post it here. He looked like a pretty serious cyclist. Riding (AFAICT) a Seven Odonata (not current model year, had a head tube extension so probably custom) with Campy Record, wearing Team Ochsner jersey.
Seinfeld was on Leno last week...rockbender

He had a couple pictures of him on his bike on the show. He insisted that Jay Leno question him starting with the preposition, "So Jerry, as a cyclist..." even if the question wasn't about cycling. Pretty good.

I am sure there must be more on him riding... wonder if he ever rides with Robin Williams? That would be a gas for sure.
Seinfeld/Armstrong connection....teoteoteo

I don't know that they are good friends but Lance and Jerry are at least aquintances. A month or two back I had a discussion with someone in Armstrongs agents office about the quest to get Jerry off his Seven and on an OCLV....

But never seen him riding. My fiance tells a funny story about the conversation she over heard when she happens to leave the polls with them last election. She said he acts just like he does on the show. Apparenlty he wanted to eat outside and his wife suggested a couple of places to which he responded "Y'see that's not really outside. They have the windows open but it's not really 'outside'. I want to eat outside."
Those pedals don't look clipless!!!Alexx

They look like those plain old flat, wide ATB/BMX pedals (the ones that come with studs) that I have on my winter heap. No, it looks like she spilled it all by herself.
