Am I to assume spacing is perfectly fine?
I've been contemplating a pair of Campy wheels, and can get a great deal on a set with an actual Campy hub. I'm not looking to pound a square peg into a round hole either...

|Campy spacing is 4.55mm and shimano spacing is 4.32mm. The error is 5% per shift and will accumulate to a minimum of 20% after 4 shifts.
Most folks want to do the opposite and use a shimano wheel on a campy drivetrain. The big difference in using a campy wheel on a shimano drivetrain is the fact that the derailleur will undershift rather than overshift. With 20% accumulative undershifting on the fourth shift from the center, the fourth shift may not work too well. You'll have to try it and see. You might be able to find a loose cog cassette and respace to shimano, but it seems like a lot of trouble and expense.
