I was comuting in on the MTB (I know; other board) and all the sudden, I couldn't turn the pedals over. I stop and check; the small ring is taco-ed. No idea how or where, but it won't clear the chain stays.

OK; What to do? I empty my pack and find the topeak. I'm thinking; pull the cranks and remove the ring. No crank puller and those don't come off with a good tug. So, I realize all I need to do is stay off the small ring and I can ride if it clears the frame. A simple bending and I'm off.

The ONLY tool on the topeak which worked was the bottle opener. And you thought it had only one function?
