|If you have had a vasectomy, how long before you were back on the bike? I need to schedule one and don't want to miss any big events.

|I had mine on 5/15, and I will be back on the bike this weekend (could probably go now but too busy). I asked the same question and did my research, the general consensus was anywhere from a few days to two weeks. Everything went so smooth/easy I didn't want to get back on too quick and suffer a setback. Obviously everyone is different, but for what it is worth, it was very simple. I went in with some anxiety and came out saying "wow, I wish I would have done it over the winter instead of putting it off".|

|I was tender, but back on the bike for short rides in less than a week, I think (it was 10 or 12 years ago, so it's not fresh in my mind). Seems like it took about two weeks for the tenderness to go away, but I never had any real pain.
Don't push it, though. Two friends of mine tried to come back too fast (like a century four days later), and they were laid up for several days afterward.

|after three days I got on the windtrainer(not even rollers) for about 10minutes to start with(i couldn't go any longer without doing something) after a week I was fine to do anything.
If it hurt or you are swollen don't do this.
