|Removing cable stops from downtube???||turborob|

|This is probably a really basic question, but shouldn't the cable stops simply come off of the downtube after removing the bolt in the center of them? I picked up some new components and the cable stops are a little different so I figured I'd use them, but the old ones feel like they're glued on or something. It's an EPX carbon fiber frame if it matters.
And here I thought this would be an "easy" upgrade :(

|common problem the braze on is square so the stop is sort of pressed on once the 4mm allen is tightened also if they have been on for awhile any sweat will cause the stops to be tighter. They just need to be pryed off. Spray some WD40 while holding a rag around the stops just giggle the stops back and forth with fingers or if you need to a small plastic tire Iron can be used to pry them off the only thing that holds the stops onto the bosses is the 4mm all no glue or anything like that.
Also when putting on your new stops grease the threads of the 4mm allen bolts.
Hope this helps.
