Peterson Powerbeds......Any good?Poulidor

I am considering getting some Peterson Powerbeds (shoe insoles) because I am experiencing pain/numbness in the balls of my feet. I recently switched to some new shoes and I was hoping that the Powerbeds would solve the problem. Any first-hand experience, opinions would be welcome.

Thanks,

PPP

Bill Peterson. He works out of RI. I have a pair of custom Peterson foot beds due to flat feet. I never had a problem with any shoe as long as I used them. My new Northwave Genetix won't allow me to use them. I now get the burning numbness at the ball of the foot. I just got the off the shelf Petersn foot beds and only have been out for one ride with them so I can't say just yet. They do provide more arch support than any other. Is this a problem that just came up with the new shoes? If shoes are too narrow they can cause cramping problems at the front of the foot. If you have had this problem with most shoes then maybe you should see a podiatrist that deals with cyclists. By the way, small platform pedals will cause the type of problems you are experiencing too especially with flexy soles. Here is the link to Bill.
