question about pedals for the multi-bike crewrufus

for all you folks with three, or five, or even seven bikes or more, have you bought pedals for each of them, or just own two or three sets that you swap from bike to bike?

The bikes that I put more miles on all have clipless pedals on them. I couple of bikes that I only ride occassionally have flats. After many years of riding, I've ended up with a lot of older clipless pedals, and the older ones go on bikes riden less.

I have two sets of really nice pedals, and four bikes that see most of my miles. I can't justify buying more pedals, so I do swap the nice pedals around between the bikes occasionally, but the "2nd tier" pedals work well enough in most cases.

it's a pain in the butt to have to switch pedals from bike to bike.

that said, right now i've got a different type of pedals on each bike (hence different cleats) so i'm also switching shoes...also a major pain in the butt, but so far its workign.
