|I think "Tour de France" translates into "Tour of France", but what about the other big races in cycling? Can anyone help me out and give the english translation of the other big races? Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espana, Ghent - Wevelgem, Fleche - Wallone, Settimana Catalana, Settimana Lombarda, LBL.
If you think of any others I left out, please add them to the list.

|Giro/Vuelta = tour
Ghent - Wevelgem = start and finish towns
fleche = arrow
settimana = I'm not sure, want to say I have heard a translation to mean 'week of (region)'. The actual spanish word is 'semana'. Sounds like it's Italian for just that. Italophiles/phones' response anywhere??
As for races through the Fatherland:
Rund um den Henninger Turm = 'around the tower of Henning'
HEW = Hamburger Elektrizitaetswerke = Hamburg power plants (German cycling federation sponsors)
Bayern Rundfahrt = tour of Bavaria
