Al.vs.CF. Bike feedback to riderbikerbob

I built a Trek frame w/Ouzo carbon fork this past spring. The bike seems to be faster than my Klein, but what I've noticed is that the Klein seems to give me more of a response when I start to hammer on the pedals than the Trek. Is it just me? I haven't ridden any other CF frames, so have no basis on which to compare. The Trek climbs incredibly well. I'm usually in one or two higher gears than I would be on the Klein, but I still don't sense much feedback from the Trek, except it's very smooth. I have used the same set of wheels on both bikes to help compare.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Bob
