|Hi everyone. It has been a long time since I asked or responded to something here (and almost as long since I was on the bike!)
I developed a bad case of sciatica playing tennis 6 weeks ago and although the pain is gone the upper left leg is still a little "tingly". The doc says to take it easy with sports but the inactivity is killing me.
My question is would a little bit on the road or on the trainer help or hurt? I think that this is one of those things that you just have to work through. FYI, my MRI showed absolutely nothing wrong with the lower back.

Just curious as to where you found the information about sciatica and exercise. I just underwent back surgery for a herniated disc and I'm trying to find info about the subject.

|JaeP - Do a search here and you will find some great info from earlier this month. There are a couple more threads that are very good too.
I went the internet route and the bookstore route and found good info in both. I am going to ride tomorrow, so I am anxious to see how it is affected.
