|Originally, only the morning live show and a short half hour show was going to air. They were going to have an eight-hour Global Extreme Mt. Everest show on all afternoon and night.
I checked olntv.com and there was a message saying due to unforseen complications the Everest show won't be on. The sites tv schedule shows the regular one hour Giro stage airing were back on.

|The weather and the coverage was so different that is different to compare them. It must have taken Simoni close to 3.5-4 minutes to complete the last kilometer. This means he was going at about 10 mph. Usually pro-riders climb at 15-17 mph mountains like Alp d'Huez and Ventoux.|| |
