Originally, only the morning live show and a short half hour show was going to air. They were going to have an eight-hour Global Extreme Mt. Everest show on all afternoon and night.
I checked olntv.com and there was a message saying due to unforseen complications the Everest show won't be on. The sites tv schedule shows the regular one hour Giro stage airing were back on.
I saw it already. It was awsome. 22-27% grades. :-P nmBruno S

Damn, I didn't want to know what the course was like today. Now you've ruined it for me and I can't watch it!! Damn you to hell!!!

It it had been raining today, this ride would have looked as horrendous as the Angliru in the rain.

The weather and the coverage was so different that is different to compare them. It must have taken Simoni close to 3.5-4 minutes to complete the last kilometer. This means he was going at about 10 mph. Usually pro-riders climb at 15-17 mph mountains like Alp d'Huez and Ventoux.
