and I was just about to kick off the "Free James Brown" campaign...

I all but had counted on a new frame from the donations... haha.

as the Godfather of Soul once said:
fo seezin, yo man dun seezin

whatever the hell that means.

Thanks for the update. I wish we could have icons on the board next to our names... that pic of yours would be mine!!!

What? Are they going to let you wear a portable disk player for the 600k brevet? I asked Dale if he wanted to borrow a portable dvd player to mount on some aerobars, because his route is absolutely lame here on this side of the state. But yah, I can help you.

There are about a bazillion compilation CDs that will more than fill your need for JB, but if you want the best depiction of THE MAN, check out Live at the Apollo. Im not a huge fan of live albums, but this one is pretty good. Otherwise, you could flip out the buck for Star Time, which is another one that I have that has 4 cds and something like 71 songs. I actually saw this set go for twenty something on ebay a while back, I think it is like $50 at the store.

However, I must warn you, that you will want to get offa that bike and be your BAD self and dance a jig of your own.

Isn't that this weekend?

thanks--will put those on my list. good deals can often be had online, and i'm a big supporter of eBay and Amazon.com.

I have a velvet cape and a few really dedicated friends, so gettin' on down (to tha Hot Tub :) ) with my sef' won't be no problem much at all, ya'hear?

yep, this weekend is Dale's and my 600k, but on different sides of MO. i'll be riding in IL, which is really not a thrilling landscape. you could consider my ride as more along the lines of 6000k, and Dale's more like 60k, since i won't have a Cat 1 pulling for the first 15 hours. just kidding, Dale. ok, not really.

KC is looking better and better as this week progresses.
