I just had some blood work done. - i.e. mcv, mch, hemoglobin, etc.

It was a CBC, comp. metabolic panel, and thyroid panel. Tons of acronyms.

Anyone know a website I can look them all up and understand what my readings mean? My hematocrit was 49.3% - I think that's good right?

I find that I can find the definition(s) of most acronyms very easily with Google.

I was a medical laboratory tech (ie., the people who perform and report the test results) for 7 years...if you have questions fire away.

A Hct of 49.3 is on the upper end of high. 0.7 more and you'de get kicked out of the Giro...
