There isn't a beginners corner forum like in MTBreview.com. So I'll have to ask here. I'm considering getting into road biking as well, my first question would be, if I were to get a bike, what size would be good for me (I'm 5'7 175lbs), and any good suggestions on a entry level bike?

That would be local bike shop. Invest the time and establish a relationship with them. Maybe vsit two just to get another opinion.

Opinions and formulas vary on sizing, for two viewpoints check out

and http://www.coloradocyclist.com/bikefit/
Personally, a bigger frame like Rivendell recommends works better for me, but others are happier w/ a smaller frame like CC recommends. As the other poster said, ask around and find the best local bike shops...the formulas will give a ballpark figure, but it is best to have an experienced person check you out on the bike to determine the fit.
