|- with them? I can get a new set from a friend for a killer deal. The spoke pattern looks crazy. How do they ride?|

|I just got a set of these, and I'm very happy. They're not quite as light or fancy as more expensive wheels, but for the price ($300) they're great for me.
The G3 lacing pattern is borrowed from Campy's more expensive wheels, but makes for a strong wheel that accellerates well, with just enough 'give' for me.
That being said, I'm only 140lbs and I ride in Florida, so I don't know how these would hold up wit a heavier rider, or during climbs.
Mine were a replacement for a set of 32 hole Ambrosio Balance, so with that in mind the performance is an order of magnitude better for me.
Give them a try if the price is right. I think you'll probably be happy with them, and they look snazzy too.

|There's a review here:
I'm sure they're totally unbiased ;)
These wheels are pretty popular, I've seen a lot of them at races, group rides, etc. What kind of deal are you getting? I've seen them go for $249 ish.

|He'll give them to me for $200. His ADA wheels had to go back to get fixed and he picked these up just to get him by. I guess I'll buy them.
|They ride fine--pretty good IMO.||djg|

|I picked up a set pretty cheap and have used them on the commuter. They've been a strong set of wheels--no problems. My subjective impression is that they're not as stiff as my Ks, despite the (somewhat) higher profile rim. They spin up pretty well. I like them, for what they are; that is, (despite the hi-tech looks) a good basic wheelset.|| |
