The top cap that Ouzo gives you for their carbon steerer weighs about as much as the fork....anyone replace this with a lighter alternative?
I hear that you can buy a Ti steerer cap for $87..........nmMR_GRUMPY

The Columbus Carbon Super Muscle fork ($400) weights 340g, at least 20 grams less than the Reynolds. Buy the fork, keep the Reynolds cap and you're golden.

As always, glad to help.
I've heard it's made of depleted uranium :-) nmBruno S

All the depleted uranium was used to make tank shells to cut through the tissue-paper armour of T55s and T78s.
It didn't work!...Bruno S

I've heard that one of the problems was that the depleted uranium anunition would go through the russian tanks like butter and exit on the other side. Conventional amunition was better because it would go in and bounce inside the tank inflicting more damage.

Have you ever seen the damage a depleted uranium shell does do? I have and it's nasty. The shell moves thru the tank so fast that it can create suction so powerful it pulls the contents inside the tank out thru the exit hole. No matter how you look at it, the damage inflicted is devestating.
