This morning's Cyclingnews.com interview with R. Pevenage notwithstanding, it seems that J. Ulrich and Coast are parting ways... so who gets the German??

From Eurosport's on-line covcerage of the Giro:

BREAKING NEWS: Former Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich has split from the financially-troubled Team Coast. The German had signed a four-year contract with the team in January. The team was suspended by the sport's ruling body last week for non-payment of their riders' salaries.

Probably just spin from Ullrich/Pevenage camp to scare DahmsBergMann

I'll believe it when I actually see him start in another jersey. There have been dozens of "news breaks" on the Coast situation in the German press the last few days, with both Dahms (Coast owner) and Pevenage claiming they have fat financial commitments from new/unexpected sources.
Unless Dahms stonewalls the transfer of team ownership out of spite, don't expect Jan to leave Pevenage and the rest of his entourage (not to mention the rest of the team) in the lurch so soon.
This announcement is probably a deliberate "leak" to scare Dahms into selling fast & cheap.
