Netting?? Road rashSadlebred

I've found myself with a nasty case of road rash. Does anyone know where I can find the "netting" style gauze that slips over the bandages that you don't have to tape? I've searched all of the local drug stores to no avail.
Even better!Kristin

Get some non-stick gauze and anti-bacterial ointment. Apply the ointment and bangages (first 2 days at least) and then cover them lightly with an ace bandage wrap. This worked wonders for me and got me more sympathy points at work. You've probably got at least one ace bandage in your medicine cabinet.

It is burn netting and is very hard to find. It is not necessary but can be a little easier than other methods. The ace bandage recommendation is good in case you can't find it. I've got some huge medical supply catalog at home for a place that supposedly carries it. I've dug through it and can't find it. Good luck. For road rash care visit bravesoldier.com for info if you'd like.

Thanks guys. I was able to find it at a local medical supply company. It was $13 for a 30 yard roll, and it came in several different sizes.
where's local? nmNo_sprint
