I am going to be riding the Rolling Hills Challenge tomorrow and have a few questions.

1) Roughly how many riders have ridden this in years past?

2) What are the road conditions. The Bluebonnet Metric killed me and I need to decide which wheels/tires to run (cylcross or regular)

3) How is the support. Bluebonnet not so good, MS150 great!

Thanks in advance.

I've done the Rolling Hills Challenge twice - 2000 and 2002. Mechanical support is nearly none-existent (1st year they didn't even have a floor pump, not sure about last year). Food/water/portacan is fine. Roads are decent (much better than the Bluebonnet). It's a very small ride. The people are incredibly nice. Pay attention at the start so that you end up doing the right route. Friends who can't quite seem to get ready on time caused us to miss the start and we ended up on the 25 mile route when we wanted the 50 - we were not happy. Overall, it's a pretty enjoyable ride.
