I thought for a second that it was a picture of Lance.....then I noticed that he has on black socks. Lance only wears those dorky white Nike socks.

I mean, c'mon, if you're gonna be a poser, at least get it right.

the non drive side clamps on the drive side shaft like a thredless stem on a fork(The cranks are splined unlike your steerer tube). The bottom bracket is set up like a Headset.
I do think its a neat Idea.
Clean? No. Fugly? YES! (to each his own....) nmKG 361

Well, the levers would be easier to shift and brake if they were more out in front, wouldn't they? You could lower them without rotating the handlbar. Where are the Oakleys?

The latest "innovation" from the restless Shimano designers: those chainrings are supposed to be more aero, like the crank arm, right?

None of the drivetrain components are supposed to be more aero; they're supposed to be stiffer.

As for this fred's position, if he didn't care so much what the stem/steerer nazis thought, he could just flip his stem, then rotate his levers down to a more neutral position to achieve the desired reach/height. Personally, I run my levers a little higher on my bar, but WOW.
